FDA has import regulations for all food entering the US. How its enforced and regulated by them is anyone's guess, but there is some protection there I would guess.

I would suggest if you can to check out Halter's and see J or Chris. They can put you on the ride that will best suit your riding style and budget. Also you may want to check out the Cannondales alot of people don't seem to like them, but personally I love mine and wouldn't give it up!
