I haven't been on a trail since my accident at Allaire three years ago, tore my rotator cuff and busted knee on a bad crash. I ride mostly around town and to and from the gym. Looking to get back in it, but gotta go slow. Had my accident going above my abilities and learned my lesson.
I ride...
Looking to get back into it after a shoulder injury a few years back. I hear Cheesequake is an easier trail and I would be basically starting as a beginner (no ego here!). Is there any beginner rides or just go on your own?
If that falls through, let me know. Im 6'3" and currently on a Gary Fisher hardtail. However, I also do some charity road rides so I have the road tires to go with the bike if interested.
Anyone interested in doing this again after work this season? I work in Morristown and going on my lunch hour is tough since there isn't enough time. Never did LM but figure a beginner ride would be perfect to acclimate myself.
Although a bit of a ride from Morristown, this could be a ton of fun. I too have been off the bike since October so I need something to brush off the cobwebs...
Anyone from the North Jersey region looking to head down, give me a holler and maybe we can carpool
Question: how advanced is Lew Mo? Reason I ask is I started getting intot he real stuff late 2012 and have done 6mr several times and feel comfortable on those trails. Is this easier, harder? I also work in Morristown so its right in my backyard during the day.
Hey Mark, did you make it out yesterday? I went Canal side (Blue) to Red, to White, back to Red (f@#$% insane btw!) to Canal. Took me about 1 1/2 hours but it was enough.
