Curious about the gravel sections , would a steel road bike with 30c tires survive? I need some motivation but not if it will be pure torture, like 50% torture is acceptable lol 😆

When in doubt start over from step one clean everything multiple times , sounds like something isn't seating correctly like an old guide pin is hiding somewhere or a burned up bushing .

Compress the post a few inches to assemble. I also leave the seal collar loose as well when servicing and snug that up last .
