We went to Mercer instead after seeing the photos. Very ride-able but on that back trail past the rowing center a lot of trees and branches across the trail. Had to stop may times to carry bikes over or move stuff off the trail.

I'm going to say they had their minds made up to deny access way before tonight, sadly anything said or presented really makes no difference. I'd guess the freeholders, like 20 years ago felt allowing access would cost them more votes so they took the safe route of just not changing anything...
