Yup, what he said. Hand size is a key factor. For big hands, ODI Rogue is the way to go, I have them on all of my MTBs.

I saw a slew of them on the trails, which is what bugged me. Not eaten, either. Like somebody (or thing) put them there for no reason. And not just near the creek.

My last ride there, I saw more dead animals in general than I have in 20 years of riding at Mercer, including the fish. Dead deer, fox, squirrels, as well as the aforementioned vulture. It was a little creepy.

Is this thing open to anybody, or do you have to know a guy who knows a guy?

Rode last night, very little standing water. A lot of greasy 1/2" deep mud, especially in corners. Overall good shape.
