Years ago friends and I hiked out to these two spots. Dutch shoe rock is accessible from the AT trail head near the old prison on 23 in high point. It’s a SSE facing slab so it melts quickly. The other one I can’t even remember where we started from but you can see it from river road in Montague.

So I see they took upper cathedral brook off the map. The rope still up? If not I think it’s usually worth the hike.
