These rocks are big and heavy, pics dont do them justice. If you want to get strong, do trailwork, no gym membership required.

Tell me where you rode today...

If you are willing to drive 7hrs north of central Jersey, the Laurentians in Canada has extensive fatbiking in snow. 46km of scenic rail trail(Le Petit Nord) connects towns and singletrack fatbiking trails, for free. Generally speaking the temps stay cold enough to provide firm fat biking...

    NJ Backcountry Skiing Spots????

I was just at Watchung and xc skied for 5 minutes and bailed. The few tracks that are there did not mill the snow up enough, its gonna take a lot of traffic and or warmer temps to bed in the trail.

    NJ Backcountry Skiing Spots????

I believe everything in NJ is breakable crust right now...unless it was groomed. There is plenty of snow out there but skiing it or biking it will not be good until temps go up and soften snow.

XC Skiing Thompson Park Groomed Trails

Thompson Park in Lincroft is groomed for xc skiing with classic track set as well as a skate lane. They also rent xc skis and snowshoes if you want to try it out. Get out this week while the snow is good, don't cost nothin.

    MCP Trail Maintenance

The billy goat mower work looks great! Cutting out multi floral rose, honey suckle and other invasives this time of year is ideal. Its so much easier when not leafed out and temps are colder, allowing for more comfort while wearing protective clothing. The ground can be unpredictable to do...

    2026 fixes, suggestions, proposals

I rode the Patriots path side recently and its good to see the park using forestry mower to clear invasives over there. Any chance they are going to use that to clear all the barberry on the main trails? It would be nice if the turns at lewmo could be more mtb friendly. Overall the reroutes are...
