Finished building this old street trials bike back up. Built it with gears this time. Would prefer a straight leg BMX style fork rather than this curved trials fork, but hard to find one that will take V-brakes. And I already had this fork.

I9 has been really fair and easy to deal with. When I cracked the rear, they offered me a really fair deal on a discounted new shell for me, and on this one they did the same….. it should be here in under a week. Which means there’s a trip to Hilltop for a wheel rebuild in my near future 🙂...

To be fair these have taken many years of abuse. The rear hubshell cracked open like 2 yrs back. I think this one has been on borrowed time tbh

My fatbike wheel developed a wobble. Post ride inspection revealed why. 😕

Rode late today on the fatbike. Although I could tell there was ice underneath, last nights snow on top provided surprisingly great grip. About 2/3rds of the trails had no other bike tracks in the new snow.
