Yah, I'm leaning towards the race version. For$300 more, you get alot more. Better fork, tubeless ready rims and tires, and 10 speed drivetrain.

@jdog thanks for the heads up for the Cujo. But I really want front air shocks. Besides the Cannondale Cujo states weight at about 24.3lbs while the Nukeproof CubScout has a 24.9lbs with a 100mm travel air fork! DAMN $150 shipping! That's off my list.

But anyway take a look at the nukeproof cub scout. Not the lightest but 25lbs is not all that bad im sure that by replacing a few components it can drop a few pounds. Im really considering the nukeproof chub scout race...

Agreed. Most bike manufacturers focus on adult bikes as though those adults won't have kids that they want to enjoy the sport with. It's a shame really. And i just don't understand why a kids bike cost just as much as an adult bike and weight more.
