I bought an inflatable this year. With the seat, it’s a pretty solid replacement for the kayak. And way easier to travel with and set up.

All the towns mentioned are worth visiting. I’ll throw rhinebeck in as well. Cold spring is probably the quaintest, and you can hike Hudson highlands right from town. I’d say Kingston is the hippest. Autocamp is a cool place to stay, the airstreams are really nice.

Flush the brake fluid, it’s hydroscopic and it’s safety related. Are you on the original timing belt? Usually the coolant gets replaced along with the ware pump when you do the timing belt. I wouldn’t do a tranny flush at that mileage. A drain and fill…. maybe. Don’t know much about that...
