Hey Guys and Gals! No one likes to hear the words, "l've got a mechanical!" when riding the trails. Equally frustrating is a failed water pump on a car. I gotta get some quick cash to cover the repair. Does anyone want a pair of Garmin Vector 3 Power pedals? I bought them in January this year...

Hey All, According to the weather reports, Mountain Creek is supposed to get 1 inch of rain on Saturday, 10/27. I've got reservations to ride on Sunday, the 28th. I called them and they said they will be open. I've only been there once and have no idea how the place drains. So, I'm looking...

There is trail maintenance planned at Allaire at 8am on Sunday (8/5) and a ride afterward. Weather reports looks solid (Sunny, 89). Hope to see some of you there! :cool:

That is interesting! I'm so used to wearing a helmet I didn't even consider taking it off to see if it is the source. Then again, I don't notice the wind so much when riding trails. That's for the advice.

For the MTB riders who also enjoy the road... I mostly ride off-road trails but I'm slowly riding more miles on the road. One thing I notice is the wind noise drowns out a lot of "sound cues" like approaching vehicles or other nearby riders. I found a wind noise reduction product called...

Impractical Jokers is pretty much always on my TV, even if its just for background noise. Less watching, more riding! :-)

Thanks Qclabrat, Nassau might be a little far for me also, at least for tomorrow that is. Allaire is in my backyard. Ok, not literally (I don't have a yard) but it is close by. ;-) I ride with a group that recently rode the Columbia trail; good to know that Nassau is nearby!
