    Thule T2 917xt

2010 model used for about 2.5 years, Thule T2 917 XT hitch mounted platform bike rack for 1.25" hitch. Purchased in 2010, it is in good shape. My new truck has a larger hitch is the reason for the sale. I don't want to use an adapter. It comes with 3 locks, two for the two bikes it holds...

does anyone know any bikeshops that provide finance?

Not sure about the shops themselves financing, but I think most Trek dealers have a Trek credit card which usually has some type of interest free period, 6 month to one year at times. I'm also pretty sure that you don't have to buy a Trek.

new rider!!!! hears my story haha

Welcome! On Tuesday nights at 6pm there is a well attended BEGINNER ride at Allaire Park. We meet at the Hospital Road lot. You can find a thread on the Allaire Section of this board. The ride is as fast as the slowest rider. I'll leave the comments about riding on wet trails to others.

    Lake winter boots

Don't buy them online. I tried that with another type of winter biking shoe that I considered before the Lakes. The site claimed to have the size I wanted, but after I paid I found that they were backordered. Then I found a bunch of bad reviews about the place. It took me a month to get a...

    Lake winter boots

This is so true. I bought them last season and only used them a few times. Then I was able to use them road riding in November. I have a feeling I'll get a lot of use out of them this season. I thought of using shoe covers, but I wasn't sure how they would help much with keeping my feet dry in...

    Gore biking jackets advice

I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Gore-Bike-Wear-Mens-Jacket/dp/B002PU9TZ0/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Its expensive, but its thin and it keeps me warm some how. When you look at it you think that there is no way that this jacket should cost this much. I can ride in 20 degree weather...

Vegas - Red Rock - Mustang Trail

True, I told the guide that I was used to that amount of sand, but not the rocks. Yes, I proudly walked halfway up that gravelly little hill. 2hrs into this thing my legs were protesting.

Vegas - Red Rock - Mustang Trail

Fun I did have... something very different. The first thing is that I realize that I am not built for climbing, but throw in starting at 3900 foot elevation and it really, really sucked. I felt like I couldn't get any oxygen. Then I got a headache, then I felt nauseous :puke: so I kinda spun...
