    Williams Lake

I went there about 20 years ago, it was as good as anything I have ever ridden. It was under old ownership and while it was supposed to be race only, we went into the main office and asked permission. They said to go ahead. While we were riding in a cold rainstorm, our car battery died. The...

    Hasenclever Trail

Interesting, I did not find it technical or challenging, more so boring from a MTB perspective, i remember thinking it would be better as a gravel ride. But again, it was a few years back. Maybe 2021 is the right time to revisit.

    Hasenclever Trail

This was the day we explored it, a while back, but consistent with Jim N. https://www.strava.com/activities/753944555/embed/066283276c2c7941dca83a86ab63887bbaa21f3e

    Hasenclever Trail

I think there is tremendous potential, but the manpower is limited and focused elsewhere. My current understanding is a better/more direct connect into Sterling from Ringwood is in the works. This should eliminate the road ride from the traffic light to south gate or caretaker. After that, my...

We took it all the way into the lake behind the JH compound and IBM

    Hasenclever Trail

They may have re-routed around it, or I was using a collection of older maps. It was about 3 years ago, I found the adventure fun, but the riding was not worth the time and effort so I never went back.

    Hasenclever Trail

Entering in from the Manor is the best bike permitted route. It is tough to navigate, I had to piece together multiple maps to figure it out and trail markers barely exist. You also need to ride through a toxic waste dump. I wound up exiting by lake behind the JH Compound.

Question for Ibis Ripley owners... ??

I’m 5 10, ride a large Ripley LS. 5 9 could go either way, as the thinking goes, bigger for stability, smaller for playfulness. I generally prefer to size up when I am on the line.

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

Ringwood was excellent yesterday and today. It was starting to thaw towards the end of the ride today. I think best bet is to ride early otherwise its going to make that hard shift to thaw mud. Hi temps and rain at the end of the weeks will shut things down for a while I think.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

We are looking clear up in ringwood again, will take a day or two to dry out, after that cold early mornings should be just fine.

Thanks guys. That is a bummer to hear, I was hoping it was spared.

    Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Anyone have any feedback on how Hartshorne did with this storm? I am up in ringwood and we are buried.

    Ringwood State Park Conditions

You need a permit to drive a car/truck back there, such as a the one they offer for downed tree/firewood removal. I can’t imagine it is different for dirt bikes, aside from the fact that I cannot imagine a dirt bike would be used to clean up and remove downed trees.
