    Digital Caliper

You'd do better with a good vernier caliper for general use. You're going to pay more for a new battery than you paid for a digital caliper. Buy a good one too. The cheap ones suck to use.

H2H Race #1: Mooch Madness Pre-Ride Info (Group ride Thursday 6PM)

Nice course! Challenging and fun! You really don't need the Garmin file to ride it. It's well marked and/or groomed well enough to find your way without a Garmin. Those bears though! I didn't see the lions. I think they were sleeping off a hangover, but the bears wouldn't let me near the...

    Tubeless CX Tires

    Tubeless CX Tires

I've given up on the 340s. Since then I've found several places online stating how problematic they are to run tubeless. The new Ironcross rims are reportedly better. The American classics that I now use are only 100g heavier and noticeably stiffer. I'm going to try to get a second set for...

    Tubeless CX Tires

I tried a couple of tubeless options last season. First: Stan's alpha 340s with Michelin Mud 2s. I blew tires off the rim and burped every time I rode. I ended flying into a cornfield at Six Mile run at one point. I'm 195 lbs and ran them at 35 psi at the time. I found that I couldn't avoid...

    Hi from Bloomfield

As part of the Watchung Wheelmen, I've ridden and raced with many of you this year. I figure it's time I stopped lurking and started participating. Thanks for all you do in furthering mountain biking. I had a great time at the Six Pack this year and am looking forward to Cyclocross fun this...
