9:33 for me on the SS. It wasn’t my fastest year but I’m ok with that. Definitely a hot one. Who’s in for next year? 😀 I have to break a sub 9 again like I did 2019.

The Cadre Crew is planning to be in attendance. I’ve lost count but I believe it will be my 11th or 12th.

Tough but great course! The third lap was about survival. I scored a second place finish in singlespeed but only 4 of us showed up and the leader snapped his chain on lap 3 so really, I didn’t do much of anything. I just rode my bike in the woods for 4 1/2 hours.

Anyone that has ridden this year’s and last year’s course or knows Wayway well…any thoughts on singlespeed gearing vs last year’s course? Same gearing or a tooth easier?

The extra rubber didn’t seem to slow you down. You passed me like I was standing still. Unfortunately, I flatted out on my 4th lap. I burned through all my CO2’s trying to find it. Thanks! Singlespeed gear choice is the most stressful part about the pre-race planning. Then it’s run what your brung.

I heard the tech is much friendlier than Ringwood. Any steep climbs or are they more long sustained?
