OOS MOGA

@BPaze , are your new shoes Five ten Impact Pro ? If so, how are they? I like the look of them but the reviews seem to point out that they're not that great to walk in, which is most of my riding...

5.10 Freeriders, don't do much walking in them mostly standing around breathing heavily. They are good, but almost too sticky, if my foot moves I can't get it repositioned and have had some knee discomfort, but that might just be an adjustment I can get used to. I actually used these Samba for a couple of rides and they were pretty good, to be honest, and pretty cheap.

That seems to be the problem with 'sticky' sole, I get the same with my Giro Jacket. Thank God so far I did not get any knee issue other than when I slammed it on my driveway. Hard. Really hard. Now that i think about it I should never ride my driveway, that is where i had the worst crashes so far!

Clipless... I forget which but I think it was CB that has 15 degrees of float?

I'm considering pulling pins out of my pedals

Yeah, I'm starting to get used to this. The worst is trying to re-start a climb. I jump on it so quick and have had my toe rubbing against the crank and all sorts of stuff that just ruins it. But thats all on me and getting better at planting my feet correctly from the jump.

If you're chasing fluid spills you need to change your life and get your self a concrete mixing tub for changes. I miss my older subaru because I had a 5 gallon bucket cut in half I could sneak in there for a smaller footprint and larger capacity; my new one I'd have to life my car way high to do that.

i dont have real spillage issues, drippage sure, but no real spills. I have drain valves on all the cars so 0 spillage there, put the hose right into my container and off i go. Only drips are from the oil filter (usually on the truck) since it hangs right over the power steering motor and the front frame cross member, even my flexible funnel is tough to get in the right spot to catch it all :/

I've had some exxon valdez scale oil spills changing the GT350 - that oil plug opening is so wide plus 10qts flying out is a recipe for disaster

PS you oozers used to post 100x per day!

I installed one of those but it slows the draining considerably. Maybe the newer ones are better.

not sure if it drains any slower, but it doesnt add any time to my oil change, drain the oil, pull the filter (yes i use 2 pans) rotate tires, (on my truck at least) then new filter drain closed, fill and done (i actually tend to put the first quart in and then go wait for the last bit to push through the bottom and get clear oil out before i remove the drain but its not necessary)

even if it did add time, its just an excuse to have a beer while it all drains out . . . and its still faster than taking it in. Downside is i really cant take it in since i dont keep a drainer hose in the car, i have one that fits all 3 of my vehicles . . .
