I'm more than happy to do whatever I can to help out with this, I'm just not always the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to what I have to do so I'd need some direction.

You have a leader for every weekend for a long ways out. Up front work to put on calendar, but not terrible

Another idea is just have an organized ride once a month

Sort of like the site itself? That way the pop up rides wouldn't hurt anything? I like that idea!

i don't mind setting up forums/spreadsheets defining and documenting process (gathering ideas/input and making sense of it, not going off and dictating)
i will also be official cupcake taster

I think spreadsheets and calendars are easy to set up and manage. I fully support that and will help with that if you need.

I'd hate to see OOS lose itself . I've never not felt "part" of the group any time I've been out with these guys, like have at other organized rides. There isnt a "racer" group, and " everyone " else. That's what makes it special. The bigger it gets, the more likely it is for that to happen.
