My rigid Framed Minnesota fat bike is 32 pounds and is cheap . Although I use it for snow and cardio as I’m not sure if the wheel set would survive the rest of the year.
 
First run in wasnt too productive because i brought wife kid and dogs but its a start. I can easily do much farther and faster with minimal effort. Cant believe how far i have come

All this fat bike talk got me thinking.... wondering how big of a tire I can fit on the Hightower.
The rim is 40... thinking the limiting factor is the frame.

I ordered 29er wheels for my Hightower and it will probably take 2 years.
So I am thinking, get the widest tires the frame will allow for the 27.5 wheel set. It currently has 2.8
Damn.... this basically means the 2.6 Addix I had in waiting will never get used
 
I won’t be able to make it tomorrow. Too many things going on this week for me and the bike ride is the only I can actually skip.

It does well, but once you get over 6", I don't care what bike you have it starts to suck badly unless its powdery, which it never is. I think the sweet spot is 2-4". My bike is heavy. That is why you always see me at the back of the pack. It is also not the best tool for the riding we have been doing. But, I'm working on that. I had to sell off 2 of my FS bikes when I was unemployed earlier in the year.

You floated over everything at Wawayanda last weekend but peddling a 40 pound bike can be tiring. Kind of like dragging a boat anchor behind. That must be a heck of a workout
