Anyone know if there will there be any water stations on the course like Bearscat? Not a camelback guy

Most likely not for a 3 hour race. Set up a table at end of lap and keep bottles there.Anyone know if there will there be any water stations on the course like Bearscat? Not a camelback guy
I’d love to see you do some endurance stuff. Look at Mancuso tackling some the last couple years. @UtahJoe can really do some damage on a course like the Erie 80.ok im in...despite what @David Taylor says, this is like super duper ultra endurance for me. Anything over 1 episode of Seinfeld while on the trainer I consider endurance.

Calories, make sure to eat and drink and you’ll be fine.Same here. I train for 100 minute ish races. I've been advised to be much more economical on Saturday. Easy to say.... But when I see guys take off, I dunno man...I need to chase. I'm like a god damned dog chasing a shit box Honda down the street. Eventually I run into a friggin mailbox.
Ya, that's the plan. Start with a small CamelBak and have a freshly stocked one for the second lap. Some GUs, skratch chews, and Luna bars (so much tastier than cliff and less protein).Calories, make sure to eat and drink and you’ll be fine.

Overall it's not as technical, however it's roughly a 15 mile loop, you will encounter some tech but the ratio of tech to miles is lower then Ringwood and Mooch.

π x π = -2

Since this is more like classic 1990s XC .
their...So who's going to race with a partially inflated tube in there rear pocket !!!!
Since this is more like classic 1990s XC race distance, there will be no aid station. We may have some water and some cliff products at the start/finish. There will be a feed zone by the start/finish where you can set up a cooler and/or a drink stand. My advice, based on a bunch of 50K/100K race experience, is that two small bottles of scratch/hammer per lap and one gel per 45 mins should be more than enough fuel (while avoiding rot gut) for the average 150 lb racer for this distance in the weather conditions predicted: ~60 degrees and sunny. One tip, wear sunscreen...the sun will be a factor since the foliage has not arrived quite yet.
hahaha NO THANKS. I have done enough endurance races (6 hrs or less) to know that its not my bag. The pace for me is always 99.8% of my typical XC pace, except when I drop dead, theres still 3 hours to go. I like XC...by the time I realize that I would rather be home on my couch in the AC, the race is just about over. Plus, my wife works nights and weekends, so time is hard to come by now.I’d love to see you do some endurance stuff. ya but do we REALLY want to go back to FIVE laps of lewis morris. My god did that suck 🙂I miss those races, 2.5hrs was a normal race.
