2 years in the making and my colorado build is starting

Looks great what a view.What type of garage door you thinking?
I do overhead doors for a living.Go with a liftmaster belt drive 8550w.its wifi ready and the app is free now.Also remember to pre-wire the low voltage for your wall button and photo eyes if you want that clean wireless look.

didn't no u new;
what are the best jackshaft openers? seems so much cleaner - with its own issues of course. i was going to put in a lift and use one of those rail extension kits.

We have it picked out , I'm not in charge of that dept , it's composite and will match the entry door , will look aged and will be stained . I will smart wire the entire home , at this point I built new because I didn't want someone else's shit , I wanted certain things like all the interior doors and exterior units are all 8 ft , not the 6-8 bull shit ... Which doesn't seem like much but it is significant . All and all I'm happy and the costs are back under control , best part is I'm getting residency pricing at my fav dispensary in which the manager is from H-TOWN

Awesome build. I've been spending time in CO over the last few years and I am going to be looking for property on the Western Slope this summer. When/if I find some property I might hit you up for some advice. Any thoughts on the Western slope?

I have been in the trade both commercial and residential for about ten years.The liftmaster 8500 is the best side mount motor.There are others that are decent but imo liftmaster is the best.

I don't think you can go wrong with the western slope , Colorado in general offers so much . I have been looking at lots south of castle rock due to the large tech area in south Denver , looks like in a year the push that way will start ,it would be a 5 year investment & I can do a spec home on a lot and build it for 160 a ft the homes are selling in those areas for 600 s all day best part out here is everything is an upgrade , everything .. I will do a spec home with more of a custom feel . I think it will work . When you ready or need a builder or just some advise let me know I will be up and running out here by next summer . Good luck

Thanks. Good luck to you too with the biz. Sounds like a solid good plan.

Looks like a week or 2 and I will be heading east , my work here is almost complete
Going to be hard to get used to being back in High Bridge with no views and my neighbors on top of me ...but it's just for a few more months

Colorado for the vacation week , ripped a tree off my land for a Charlie Brown Christmas , snowing and the skiing is decent
Snowmobiling tomorrow & a new year party with all my new neighbors. I was told to bring some prerolled J's ..... no beer or wine , Love the Colorado vibe

Thanks for letting us know your ride was boring, geez! Judging from them pics it's anything but boring sitting here in dirty jersey 🙂
Going on a rode and just peddling is super boring , it's like going through the pine Barron's .im not cut out for it but ....to see the natural beauty around me made it nice and the air was fucking amazing . Except when I was a blazin

All plumbing drains and incoming water are complete and inspected , we are working on the radiant system now , I was able to start working with a radiant heat contractor up here and trade my work for his work , (I'm doing structural stuff at his place ) will end up saving me about 27 K in the end and I know it's done by a pro .
The sunrise here most mornings is spectacular, I was never the type to get up to witness but haven't missed one yet .IMG_2126.PNG
