i had no problem with my picc line there is a lot of precautions to do cleaning back flushing, i had great visiting nurses that instructed me how to do it,

If you do not want to spray DEET . This works really well-

2 cups White Vinegar
1 cup Water
1 cup Avon Skin so Soft
1 Tablespoon Eucalyptus Oil

Put in a Spray Bottle and shake well.

Get this... it was from a road bike ride... commute home from work on friday. Felt the little bugger and then reached down and ripped it off while riding.

Bummer - but if you just got bit a week ago you caught it super early

The rash started Mon / Tues... thought it was poison ivy from riding Pate or Wash Cr.. past couple days it grew and today looked more like a bulls eye than an ivy rash... called the doc, he fit me in.. wham - Lymes rash..

Fingers crossed I don't get all ef'd up from it

have you gotten poison ivy ever before? i've gotten poison ivy rashes like that when I did a mediocre job at washing. Just a mile area rash instead of the typical oozing streak.
isn't it supposed to take ~24hours of an embedded tick before you can get lyme?

From what I've read the tick has to be attached 24+ hr to transmit so you probably got bit the day or 2 before and didn't notice until your road ride. Or else you ride too slowly!

I was bit a couple years ago and went to a dr and he told me the same thing.

The rash is an indicator it doesnt mean I have lymes. Since I ripped it off pretty quick, I'm hoping it didnt gorge and barf.

Guess which one is a spec of pepper and which one is a tick I found imbedded in my thigh?
