Who else raced it?

I had a good race run going up until I ate it big time on the grass turn right before the finish & ended up midpack.

It would be almost worth it if anyone got it on video, I must have slid a good 50 feet on my back (body armor acted like a sled, lol) before I almost ended up in the ditch the bridge crosses.

Anyway, heres a couple vids of Dom#1 making the rounds on the net today.

See ya'll at the Open!

different course

I raced XC at Tymor this weekend which was a lot like Domination,....since I slid 20 feet down over the rocks. The rain made it so slick and even low tire pressure was going to save me. Elbow looks ugly and is hard to bend, but I'm looking forward to the US Open. Hope it doesn't rain.

Didn't race it because of some people still in Amateur.:hmmm: but the course as usual is always sloppy Dom. 1. I assume your run was after it started raining since you went down on the grass turn?

Proof I was there.:p

Yeah, I got hung up in the chute & got a little nuts trying to make up for lost time, it occured to me that wet grass is very slick right about when my back tire passed the front at 30mph.

On the bright side, everyone watching at the finish line got to see me eat it, lol

Skinny tires + rocks + rain + clipped in = $&%**#*@&#!&!!!!!!

My XC bike seems to go out from under me without warning in those kind of conditions & to add insult to injury, I usually manage another fall trying to walk across the slippery rock with the plastic cleats on my clipless shoes, lol

Hope your elbow is healed up for the Open, weather is looking good so far *crosses fingers*

I was there enjoying the mud. By the time my race run went off the course was all sludgy. I managed to keep the rubber side down but it wasn't pretty and I looked like a punk in some sections. I always felt that they should build a double over that wooden bridge at the end. Your coming around the corner full throttle, the bridge is coming and your still sliding. Very sketchy. The US Open should be glorious sunshine hopefully.
