Now this would not have been that bad if I had an inflated tire to cushion the blow however my tire flatted at the end of the ride and provided no buffer between asphalt and aluminium. Done.

I'll be there at 4. @woody will probably be there as well. We"ll roll through lot at 5 to pick up fresh meat.
Controlled raging bonfire to follow ride.
 
I'll be here close to 5pm wheels down. I can circle back and meet as needed. Not looking for a rough pace... just steady non stop tempo.
 
I'll be doing my thursday ride today(wednesday) out of newman's at 4:30 if anyone cares to join. Starting in blue, back through the lot then on over through red and then the rest if anyone is interested. Trying to put in a good pace.

i'll be out there but won't be able to hold any pace worth noting. if you see a guy in a white helmet on a black hardtail that's me.

Didn't see you @clarkenstein . It sprinkled a hair but most of the trails were mint, minus a couple normal wet sections in blue. Oh, and the guard rail climb...drier than hell! I have made it two times on ss, my batting average went down today. I tried 3 times and only have this to show for it...should have lowered tire pressure rather than trying to hammer it.

I did bring my SS last week at CR. I did not make the guard rail climb either, when it gets dry its too bony and you can't get traction, especially on a SS. @Kirt needs to soften that elbow turn for us SSers🙂

i think you caught me on the downhill heading to the newman's lot. i heard you coming when i was about two or three turns away from the bottom. i was in slow poke mode yesterday but had a great ride. conditions were great. my tires were hooking up real well, i was trying to keep the dabbing down and only unintentionally stopped the bike twice. love those rides. the super-light precip was pretty cool to ride through too.

*edit* - i realized i said white helmet but forgot that one at home - i was in a black helmet.

I remember the black helmet now lol
 
Rode all the trails this morning except the orange and I will say the conditions are primo! Just a few wet spots at the top of the blue and the usual wet spots at the bottom. Everything else is dry. Go #getsome before the rain this weekend.
 
Bumping this early. Looking like it will be rather warm. Who's in?
