The shuttles are from Outerbike and just take you to a different trail head each day. They dropped us off two lots down from the Amasa trail head, so we just had to ride the road up for a little to get there. Then climb climb climb! God the climbs are fun.Was the shuttle out to amasa? Or was there a shuttle service to the top of Ahab?
lots of drops, but it's so wide open and the rock is so grippy you become completely used to it and just jump off everything with confidence and you stop thinking about it.What are the descents like? Lots of drops etc closer to "real" downhill riding or just technical/rocky?

No loose rocks, leaves, or trees to hit. It's really a confidence booster.
Moab was my wife's favorite place for me to abandon her all day while i go bike riding.Yes but you've seen how much of a wuss I am at CR. Hopefully I'll get to see for myself, trying to convince the wife to go to Sedona/Moab/Fruita at the end of the summer. Need to find her good yoga spots in each city.
Let her know Sedona IS one giant yoga spot. Nothing but energy vortexes and single track. WIN-WINYes but you've seen how much of a wuss I am at CR.
