6:14:12 springtime

www.strava.com/activities/512689578

Been lazy as dog in this picture for last couple of days, tho I kept telling myself,(" it's going to be a beautiful day"), indeed, beatifull, the sign of spring is almost visible if look hard enough to notice.
I make a short detour toward Central Park to feast my eyes, when all the nipples starting to come out, it can only mean one thing....

Not two hours...

I get dressed in my office while on calls... I run out the door, take the bike off the car and hit it. Try to do a ride that is roughly an hour give or take 5 minutes. In the cold, I'll shower when I get home. In days where I sweat, quick 5 minute shower and back at the desk in 1 hour 15 - 1 hour 20... max

I don't punch a clock and everyone at work knows I work more than 40 hours anyway with weekend projects and other crap they call me for off hours. So no one is bugging me as long as the work is getting done.

Edit - I don't work with A-holes. People are more interested in how many miles we rode and where we went....

be there when they get to work, be there when they leave. they won't say a word.

Wednesday 3/9, 20.8 miles 2:00 moving time - https://www.strava.com/activities/512868093

it got up to 78º here today, insane!

one of the trails weve been working on is pretty much good to go we just have to build a small ladder bridge, so i marked some of the areas off with ribbon

im having a great time discovering new stuff on the same trails ive ridden a bazillion times, its like everything is all new again

also omw home the sky went full nuke so i took a panorama of it but i wont explode the forum by attaching it, so its on the stravamasheen

i love mountain bicycle cycles!

Man if you're not riding in this weather... that's all I gots to say about that. It's strange riding at night in this kind of weather - rolling along it's nice and warm, then drop down into a dip and it feels like you're riding in a refrigerator. The temp differential between the top of dutchtown-zion and the bottom felt like 30 degrees. Anywho, with daylight savings time starting this weekend, this could be the last after work ride on niterider ever.

Had to get a pic to commemorate - abstract style

Two rides today

3/9
1:05:37

Lunchervals - I initially was hoping to set up a ride with @Norm and after thinking about it, I doubt @Norm would want to ride with me as I did intervals, It's probably entertaining to watch. Sorry Norm - I did dedicate the name to you and D.

Second ride
00:50:22

Since I was working in Somerset and the weather was "tits" as Kevin would say, I was jones'n to hit 6 mile or Chimney Rock especially with the new bike. I'm so happy Kirt gave the green light cause I really wanted to test the bike in some tech. I went easy, well.... as easy as possible. That place is relentless, it's hard not to get the heart rate up.

OMFG the weather was nice today. Three rides.

Citibike Commute Penn to Office
11 minutes
2 miles

CitiBike Commute Office to Penn
11 minutes
2.2 miles
https://www.strava.com/activities/512829728

In between those two commutes, was work. Work is dull. Work, is, uh... work. Unless there's customer entertaining. Like today. Wolfgang's for lunch. One beer (German of some sort), bottle of red split 3 ways. Food included shrimp cocktail, that giant thick cut bacon, some garlic bread with fresh mozz and tomatoes, and then there was lunch. A dinner sized cajun bone in ribeye with mash and creamed spinach on the side. nomnomnomnom

Ride 3 in the dark, in shorts and short sleeves.
1:30 moving time
25.1 miles
Crux
