Wanted to get some fun skewers and I am leaning towards the salsa's, anyone have any suggestions? The hope ones look nice too but didn't fair to well on mtbr. The DTswiss ones are super sweet too, but $50 a pop is kinda steep....

I have the salsas on my mary. The first couple times I rode with them the front got loose on me. It's probrbly user error on my part but I know it's happrnrd to a couple other folks. Nothing since that though and I've got at least 1,000 on them.

I've got the Hopes on the dual suspension and the Salsas on the hardtail.
Never had a problem with either after 2 years.

For me skewers are pretty much set em' and forget em'
I use a pair of ti Rolf skewers on the FS and a pair of 15 year old Ringle ti twisters on the Ht. I have a habit of tightening the crap out of them so they never come loose on a ride.
