Does sound good, and not too crazy. Stage races are a worthwhile challenge IMHO.

I did the 06 National there. It is a beautiful area, although racing at 10,000 ft is tough. Feel free to check my race report which would be the same course as the last day of the stage race:

I agree with you home skillet... I think this race sounds mighty tempting. I've got an opening in the schedule around that time...
