@one piece crank please share all of your research on RTT, interested to check out as well.I have a quite a few tents, from 2p (which is 1p for me) up to 8p. This is my cabin tent, a real fun one, with my 2p in the background.

Next I think I’m finally going to try a RTT. I’ve avoided them, but 2024 May be the year of driving trips.
This looks interesting, but doesn't it have tons of drag due to the shape? My dad had this A-line pop up. It was perfect...he recently sold it just because he never used it. I'm a bit sour about that...I was hoping to use it this summer.View attachment 214251
It collapses to flat like all other popupsThis looks interesting, but doesn't it have tons of drag due to the shape?
I took a deep dive several years ago, but the market has changed. Used to be $500-800 entry and $2k high-end. Today it’s $1200-low/$3-4k high (or actually as much as you want to spend).@one piece crank please share all of your research on RTT, interested to check out as well.
Took a trip up to Watkins Glen a few weeks ago and tested out the sleep-ability of the 4Runner. There aren't many perks of being 5'6", but apparently I'm the perfect size to sleep comfortably in this truck. @Carson

I know nothing, but this guy did a Sienna with lots of how-to videos :Anyone here done a minivan conversion with kitchen and bed for 2? If yes, any insight on how you went about it? Thinking about converting my 05 Sienna so I can go hiking and camping.
The one thing that I am kind of stuck on and cannot seem to find an answer is will I still be able to maintain my car insurance or do I have to declare the conversion with insurance company.
I have found a bunch of companies that have ready made kits also.
Edit: I have 2 person tent and sleeping bag etc along with portable stove which worked well last year but would like to have the kids join and want to make it easy to convince them to join me 😁
