From the sound of it, Netflix hardly worked for those with working devices. Couldn't handle the strain. This came up right around 8:30 last night when I went to sit down and watch “the fight”.
Guess it’s Black Friday sale time 🤦🏻♂️

Placing a credit freeze with the 3 credit bureaus may help to cut down on at least financial junk mail
Same with me, I think it's a new trend, especially during the holidaysTrying to opt out of the junk mail stream:
Finding out you need to supply all your personal information to do so....
About 10 years ago, there was a push to cut down on the junk mail/advertising. It seemed to work.
Slowly over the last year, the mailbox is filling up again. maybe it was a 10 year opt out?

American Express sends me an invite package to the Platinium Card on basically a bi-weekly basis. WTF? I doubt anyone who's primary residence in my entire zip code has a Platinum Card.Trying to opt out of the junk mail stream:

if unsubscribe doesn't work (or is overly burdensome like this example) then i mark as spam in gmail...if those somehow keep getting thru i have a gmail filter where i continue to add bad senders to the filter...in the beginning this took a bit of effort to populate, but one i got it to steady state i don't remember the last time i had to edit that filter as either the unsubscribe or mark as spam is doing the jobTrying to opt out of the junk mail stream:

ok boomer! tho i guess genX is included in that targeting cuz we get a ton...our solution there is the kids love putting stuff into the paper shredder and then we use that shredded paper as fireplace kindling, so you know circle of life shite#Boomer issues over here.
I'm sure they don't target younger people with paper mail.....
