Things that make you frown :(

You should try again. Netflix had lots of problems last night
Yeah I did try other things last night and this morning.

It seems it wasn’t due to anything with the fight event it’s that the TV is just too old.

Lucky I have 2 other Roku based TVs and was able to watch it last night.

Problem will be solved later middle son went to pick up a Roku plus device we will just attach that to the TV for now for $35.

Problem solved. Roku LT $40 on sale. I wanted the one with the Ethernet port for less chance of issues with Wi-Fi coverage in the house and I already have a cable run to this location anyway so might as well use it.

The only “new” problem is because I use a soundbar on this TV; it’s now 4 remotes instead of 3 depending what you want to watch (Cable TV or Netflix, etc..) because you have to change the Input between HDMI or cable box.

NBD and this device is so much faster anyway.

Company creates brand color in RGB. Not just an ad but their entire campaign.

They want to run an ad in a print job knowing the color conversion to CMYK changes their brand color a lot.

They want to know if there's anything they can do to keep it RGB.

Me: yeah. Don't run an ad in a print job. 🙄

oh my god... it's one of those weeks at work...

i'm pretty sick of people assuming they're capable of doing my job... like if you need help for getting into Teams or even logging into your laptop, how the F do you think you can learn a program like InDesign much less do anything related to layout/production on deadline?!?!

Trying to opt out of the junk mail stream:

Finding out you need to supply all your personal information to do so....

About 10 years ago, there was a push to cut down on the junk mail/advertising. It seemed to work.
Slowly over the last year, the mailbox is filling up again. maybe it was a 10 year opt out?

:frown:

Same with me, I think it's a new trend, especially during the holidays

American Express sends me an invite package to the Platinium Card on basically a bi-weekly basis. WTF? I doubt anyone who's primary residence in my entire zip code has a Platinum Card.

if unsubscribe doesn't work (or is overly burdensome like this example) then i mark as spam in gmail...if those somehow keep getting thru i have a gmail filter where i continue to add bad senders to the filter...in the beginning this took a bit of effort to populate, but one i got it to steady state i don't remember the last time i had to edit that filter as either the unsubscribe or mark as spam is doing the job

i get so little spam nowadays it's kinda of shocking, but I'll take the W
