How do i replace the brake pads for the julie brake?

You may need to bend it back to straight. Take out the wheel. Pull the pads down and out. Push the pistons back in so that there is room for the rotor and the new pads. Go ride.

T TWITCH1 Guest Feb 3, 2009 #3 sounds easy enough... What brake pads should i get? I found a set by koolstop that claim to fit the julie. Does anyone know of any others that have a long life? I'm not to hard on brakes usually.:hmmm:

jdog Shop: Halter's Cycles Shop Keep Feb 3, 2009 #4 The issue with Non Magura pads is that the metal backing plate can be too thin. As they wear they can heat up too much and damage the pistons.
