Doing some work on the ballfield trails tomorrow (2/24) if anyone is interested in helping out. Meeting at 8am from the back of the CR Park gravel lot. Will be working all day, so anytime will work.

Another week, another big session. There is now a trail at CR Park at the end of the gravel parking lot to the bottom of the stairs (and the top). The goal was to try to minimize the bike traffic thru the fields and playground area and this should help. You can park there and instantly be on singletrack. I think this is a solid addition to the park and I already received good feedback from someone who rode right after we finished.

Thanks AGAIN to Larry and Ryan who came out to work with us, appreciate your hard work and company as always. And as always, a huge thank you to Paul/High Tech for the very large crew, which was key to getting this done in 1 day.

Great, semi-frozen conditions this morning. Will be even better tomorrow morning. Did just about all of it.

Red was all good. The few wet spots were mostly crusty puddles.

Blue was decent too. Only lower blue was still soft in places. Switchbacks on back blue just about frozen. Surprisingly few ruts left. Guess the earlier rain smoothed things over?

Of course I had to check out the new trail behind the ball field gravel lot. The old trail running adjacent to the wooden stairs has been steadily eroding away. This is a huge improvement.

Assuming it's a disaster right now?
Yep, disaster is the right word. Was there this afternoon scoping a few pending projects and about as bad as could be with more rain coming.

Probably still a no-go?
Yeah, just did a quick look on the usually better parts of red and blue (i.e. avoiding both lowers, the switchbacks on blue) and while WAY better than expected, it's still pretty darned bad. Hoping by Wednesday things might be decent.

Got in another day of work in yesterday with the High Crew and Ryan. Worked on a few much needed re-routes on white. All were fall-line with 1 having a terrible sight line when the vegetation kicks in. I was super happy with the results of the dam trail (above dam/along CR Rd). It will be a fun finish down.

Thank you to Paul/HT and Ryan!
