This time of year I am usually in Old Fashioned mode, so lately the whiskey of the day has been A Fistful of Bourbon.
As the cooler months settle in, I'll be switching over to my go-tos, Auchentoshan Three Wood, Abelour anything, 'entry' Macallans/Glenlivet, Glenmorangie Nectar D'or, and whatever finds its way under the Christmas tree.

My bottle emptied this week too.
I'll have to say I wasn't on board when I first opened it.
Pretty intense.
It needs time and a little air.
I definitely came around (or it did) sitting on the shelf after I cracked it.
