I give this challenge my best effort each year, so I'm in once again. I do miss the 45 min ride days. I believe I'm in good standings with JORBA, I don't get to much trail work but I try to donate as much $ as I can. All in fun.

Day 1/31

Extended family vacation in Portugal. Have a department store 29 hardtail to ride. Heavy and noisy, but it works. I thought I was getting up and going early today, but everyone was pretty much awake as I was leaving. Just went for a quick trip south along the beach road to be back for breakfast. Overnight clouds starting to burn off in the east, should be sunny and high 70s.

BTW you never renewed your JORBA membership (yes I know you used to be auto-renew but the system changed).

And yes I feel comfortable enough with you specifically to point out that JORBA will die if you specifically don't renew. I guess I should go make sure you didn't actually do this since the last time I bugged you.
