i found out why mountainsmith stopped making their pannier bags - it's because they are too straptastic. i thought i had all the straps tucked away and secure. guess what? i was wrong. wrapped a spoke with one and fortunately wasn't going to quickly or it would be real damage - bike is still ridable but the wheel is way out of true.
hoping someone local might have a setup i can swing by and use to reset it. my wheel truing fu is rusty at best, so i could use the camaraderie as well, and don't want to just turn the bike upside down and start twisting nipples all alone...
