Derailleur is flopping around. Yes, it is a $20 part, but ya know.

Nothing else came with the part - hanger bolt has bottomed.

Maybe? Try it. You'll need a washer with a 3/8 or 10mm opening that doesn't hit any other part of the derailleur, but still leaves the b-screw on the tang.

I would turn the bolt shoulder down on a lathe, rather than fuss with washers.

Drop it here, and my landlord can spin it for yous, just need a measurement of how much. Stick a feeler gauge in the space

Why not put the washer where the gap is, rather than move the deraileur outward?

It has some sort of matched seat.

Could probably turn down the shoulder so it doesn't bottom out.

Will look the stainless bin first

Mine recently came loose. (XT) Shifting was horrible but always fine on the stand.
Finally took the chain off and saw all of the wobble. 🙄
Maybe I should add some blue loctite.
If you need something turned, I know a guy. Or the same guy can make a washer of required specifications....

@Patrick If you still need something, I'm sure I have a spacer that will work. Just give me inside and outside diameters and how thick you need.
