Ridiculous NW wind and very chilly today thanks to your stupid blizzard pumping cold air all the way down here. Tomorrow night we will have lows in the 30s! Fought the wind 7 miles to get to Carlton reserve.

I know @stb222 is disappointed by this but wasn't sure how the day would pan out. Trainer ride led by friend.

Was considering going out later in day but roads are a wet mess, and well, I don't feel like it now. Plus noted rule about indoor ride or outdoor ride counts. Not both.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Local trails were in excellent condition as the crews do an incredible job of keeping it clear. Only thing that slowed me down were deer in various places blocking the trail as well as 2 legged creatures with ear buds that were stuck in some weird trance blocking the middle of the trail.

rode to the trails only to find that by this afternoon, things we too soft and mushy to ride what i groomed y'day...so, strapped on the snowshoes and did two loops (forgot to start strava!) and then rode home...

First on the Hill
Light dusting of snow was nice as it allowed riding on the road to be ok before the traffic mushed it up. Rode the plowed section of the canal, plus where a snow mobile went and most of the foot traffic walked in that path, sometimes things just work out. However, it was a no go right at two bridges where most people dump out. Rode up passed my in-laws to make sure their driveway was clear and then headed to the local ski hill and apparently did around 20 repeats, 50' elevation haha.

All that to make this crappy video. I had a better video of the jump but something went wacky with imovie
