Grinding noise after new chain

So I replaced my chain today and everything is shifting fine but any bit of force will cause a grinding noise and little vibration through the cranks.
chain ring and cassette look to be in good shape.

cassette and chain ring were done about 400 miles or so.

Any ideas

Make sure the chain is fed properly between the rear deraileur jockey wheels. There is a little guard plate that’s easy to get the chain on the wrong side....

Its either the chain ring or cassette. Give it a few days it may settle in but it Might also be time for new stuff

is the N-W lower jockey wheel correct?

Just for more information it’s a Sram 1130 chain on GX

Same problem. 11 speed GX and problem really started after I replaced the chain.

I did have to replace my derailleur at the same time as it was mangled. I'm pretty sure mine hanger is bent as I have mis-shifting under power, but not on the workstand.

I've been ignoring it, but I hope you can figure it out so I don't have to.

Not sure if it's mis-alignment or worn chain/cassette, which look OK...

Do you still have the old chain?
If you put back on the old chain... do you get the same results?

Try turning it on and off. That's all I gotz.

I do but it’s a bigger size ring

Keep in mind some chains are directional. SRAM chains are not directional but with Shimano, the engraving on the chain must be facing outwards from the bike.

Good call. I should be able to make the noise go away, only downside is Joy is going to have a noisy bike afterwards.

So I have a new 32t but I cut the chain to my 28t. I assume I either need a new 28 or a new chain ?
