Yeah, but did you race in them? In nothing more than a skinsuit, base layer and embro? They were battling a lot more than temps.

I must say, no part of that looks like fun. I love Bend, OR though. Mt Bachelor is one of my favorite ski destinations.

2007 Nats, Kansas City. I raced Singlespeed at 8am; 5deg F, somewhere around 90th on the grid, frozen snow on the ground from the blizzard on Saturday during the M35 champs. Two laps before I could feel my fingers and I've never surfed so much in a race and never been so scared on a first lap since no one had any control over their bike on the ice and snow. Really made me question why I actually paid to sign up for that. Way colder than 2009 champs.
