The Dirt Magazine pit talk about the bike did answer one question: 9 months. UCI rules state anything used by racers must be available to the public within 9 months. I did not know that. I wonder if that is a recent rule addition. I don't recall the Honda RN-1 bike ever being sold commercially.

Crazy race. I'll refrain from mentioning the results until anyone who cares has a chance to watch the replay.
