Winter mtb shoes?

I get cold toes and it sucks. I plan to ride all winter but will most likely avoid days below 20-25 degrees. I want clipless shoes. May switch to egg beaters in the future(spd now). Shimano shmw81 or 45nrth japanther possibly?

Dude search forums. If your tootsies are cold now, buy wolvs or lakes to be old school mtbnj. Riding at 20-25 degrees is really comfy in wolvs and you have the option to ride in actual cold temps.

Seriously listen to Ken. If your feet get cold at 45, which is normal summer shoe weather for 100% of the population, you need Wolvhammers. Actually, you may be enough of a bitch to need Wolfgars.

Yes, I love them. Best $ for winter riding. I was wearing them today with summer socks, my feet were oh so comfy. As it gets colder I get used to it or wear a wool sock. I have never had cold feet with those shoes, even in 6+ hour slogs in sub 15 degree weather.
