Windham World Cup

[Not So Fast]

I went to the Windham World Cup on Sunday and was surprised not to see any Blue and Orange jerseys. I saw Marty's, Sids and NYCMTB reps.

It was a pretty kool event. I saw the xc race (friend raced), then watched the kiddies (friend) race. Took the ski lift to the top, we walked down the mountain, posted ourselves at key locations and watch the pros bomb the downhill . Lots of the spectators had live UCI feeds so we were able to know who was leading and what the scores were.

MTBNJ hosted a race on Sunday - so some orange and blue were racing that...and some of us worked the race...some did both!

I for one wanted to go but the team race called. Hopefully it finds its way back there again.

Its a nice event. Its even better when you can root for your friends.
