Ok... I'll start, cause NICA is canceled this weekend.
Please come out and cheer on over 190 kids in the first NICA MTB Race in NJ. These kids are pumped, let's show them some love and support from the MTBNJ Community. Details under "Events"

"Wild West Windsor" NICA race at Mercer County Park.
Location: West Picnic Area/Parking Lot 2
Race times:
9:30am - 6th - 8th grade boys
10:30am - Girls - all grades
12:30pm - 9th - 12th grade boys
Staggered starts for each grade within the different times.

Yeah.. at the end of the day though, the park needs to do what's best for the trails. Plus the pit and parking area will get destroyed if they get what the forecast calls for. One extra day, and we'd have been fine I think. Maybe we should all take off school/work and have the race Monday?

I get it, but when you're young it doesn't sink in the same way it does with some adults.

There's a 5k in boonton Sunday 9am.

It's a pretty flat/easy run and there's tons of food and drink at the finish line, including a beer garden (free with race reg). It is a bit weird (for me) drinking beers at 10am on a Sunday in April, but it helps with motivation during the run.
