Best use of a talk box ever. Frampton did not invent this effect but he did make it famous on his live album.
At only 26 he produced one of the best live rock albums in history. Some of the best material ever played is from young performers, they come on the scene with a different way of doing things and have the ability to blow an audience away. Frampton was able to capture the drug induced feel good persona of the 70's which makes it an iconic ablum. Also the sound engineers did an incredible job recording it, the quality of most live ablums blows.
