Circling back to the Synapse, I think you would be better off getting the Ultegra Mechanical and putting the extra money towards wheels.
how much is the Synapse with mech shifting?I can understand this perspective as well. It's an (un-discounted) $1200 additional for the Di2 setup with everything else being nearly the same, save the stem, seatpost, and bars which would likely be changed anyway when fitting the bike (ok, probably not the seatpost). So Di2 sounds great, but is it $1200 additional great?

Great ride so far ... Manasqusn Reservoir 3-4 tines & D&R canal twice . I like the rigid front as well.
