New tire cause I killed it. An entire day at Mountain Creek and I tear a sidewall at the Tourne! The WTB rims setup tubeless as well as any Stans, which is nice.

My shock was expertly serviced by @jimvreeland but Jason lent me his Kashima off the deceased Nomad to play with. Initially it felt harsh, he also had the volume kit so I'm trying that. The heckler supposedly has a unique tune so it might not work either way but we shall see.

Lastly, I hate hate hate adjustable bearing rear hubs. They never seem to stay put after finally getting enough tension to eliminate play but still spin free. Somebody had a set of XT wheels super cheap but no way do I want another set of those things. If you're good at them, I'll buy you beer.

Took advantage of yet another rainy afternoon to replace my chainring which I realized was WAY overdue to be replaced. While I had that apart i cleaned and re-greased the crank spindle. Then I installed the DebonAir air spring upgrade in my Pike and did a lower leg service. The whip is now good for a few more miles...

Didn't get any good pics of the fork upgrade as I was covered in oil and SRAM butter....managed to grab a pic of my old chainring.....

No , 2017 it's hard to pass on new take off for 350 bucks when the new pikes and lyrics are 900 and up . Also looking forward to not trapping air in the negative chamber causing harsh ride
Good to know, I have the 2015 Pike and if some tokens don't do the trick, this may be next
