Finally slapped some new rubber on the EVO - surprised the tires with all those FL miles survived this long. Anywho, specialized turbo cottons - not only are they softer and more compliant, they feel faster too - win win.
PS my biggest bike diy project is coming up this week - stay tuned, this could be a total disaster...

Curious what you think after a few rides - I went back and forth between 29 and 27.5+ a few times, finally stuck with 27.5+ - plan to get a dedicated 29er in the near future
Re-taped the rear hoop on the FS.
Somehow the tape failed over a spoke hole.
No pics of the during, but check that valve alignment there. So Pro. Almost.
And of course I checked I had the direction correct- after it was fully mounted. Got lucky again!
That deserves a beer.
