Forgotten Boardwalk is real close to me, but I have no desire to check it out.
I stopped by a new local brewery to check it out.
I am not going to say which one though because I don't want their shit blowing up on me like OH.
Nice place, and what I sampled was tight.
I may or may not have filled growlers/crowlers.

After a brief summer hiatus, Tuezdays with @Jimmy is back!
Tonight we sampled some local-
District 96 Political Juice
I only heard about this place yesterday, and had some free play in my afternoon, so I swung by to check it out.
It's legit.
Not sure of the brewers' pedigrees, but they know what they are doing.
Political Juice clocks in at 6.5%, and is their take on the hazy NEIPA. I suspect they may have others, but I think this is one of their regulars.
Our tasting tonight confirmed my impression yesterday: they hang with Bklyn.
Check them out- they run about 8 taps,
and try to offer a nice variety of styles and flavors, I'll say they got it.
Growler and crowler fills available.

And capped with a recent Greenpoint offering- Cognition, which I think references singlespeeds.
Again, damn these guys are under the radar.
Jimmy said this was better than ACE.
He's of course wrong, but I'll say it's Eli to ACE's Peyton though.
Hopefully they continue to draw enough brunch crowds to keep the lights on without their brews blowing up.

This week I guess it's "two for Tuezday"
I was planning to hit OH to fill a couple of growlers, when they heard I was coming, they opened up the new tap room and did a can release.
Mighty nice of them!
So mega fail on my part, this is the only photo I took of the tap room.

I think that dude in the beard and glasses may be one of their label artists.
It sounded like he was giving an interview about his designs to blue shirt beard.
The space is nice- much bigger, more seating, better organized, separate merch area, and 20 taps. omg. It's a ridiculous selection.
For some reason the 32 and 64 oz growler prices are like $2 difference.
Instead of $12/$20, they are $16/$18 or $18/$20.
So they jacked the price of 32's up, so don't even bother bringing the shorties.
Not sure what that's about.
So I grabbed some cans, and filled my growlers, and then my stalker showed up.
Wth? It's kinda creepy actually.

I was planning on sitting on these for a bit, but one sprung a leak in my cooler, so I had to put it down.
It was the merciful thing to do.
Hopefully I won't catch the botulism.

I second that rating. Nice session beer for a Wednesday evening after a long ride before eating dinner while hanging with good peeps!
