What are you watching now?

Catching up on The League.
Some good laughs there.
When in doubt, I ask myself "What would Rafi do?"

Better Call Saul's second season started Monday night. Couple of nice Easter Eggs for Breaking Bad fans in there, most notably "Ken Wins" made an appearance. He's the guy whose car Walt blows up in season 1 of BB. This appearance goes only slightly better for him.

Also, I've been a fan of Starz "Black Sails" for a while. Initially, I was nervous about it because it is called a "Michael Bay production", but it's really become one of my favorite shows now. It's interesting because it mixes fictional characters from Treasure Island (Captain Flint, John Silver, Billy Bones) with real life characters from that era (Charles Vane, Jack Rackham and this season they cast Ray Stevenson - Pullo from "Rome" - as Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard.) It also seems that the budget for this show could rival GoT's. All in all, a really good show that somehow manages to stay historically accurate for the most part, which is interesting given the mix of fictional and non-fictional characters.

Walking Dead returned, and did not disappoint!
The 3rd X-files was "fun" - (i think it was the third?)

better call saul is on the dvr for tonight.

waiting for house of cards to drop in a few weeks.

no word yet on season 2 of scrotal recall (this is a guy comedy, not a porn show....previously reviewed)

Has anyone else mentioned Archer yet?
This was a SuperDave reco, and a good one.

Non-comedy stuff these days is The Spiral- basically Law and Order set in Paris with subtitles.

I can't get into Better Call Saul. I'm like 6 or so episodes in and I'm trying, it just really isn't getting better. The only funny part is the constant struggle with the Breaking Bad parking security guy.

Definitely looking forward to House of Cards. Should be interesting after last seasons ending.

i like saul a lot, its good because it works as its own show and isnt overshadowed by BB, but it took me a few eps to really like it
