Would have liked to go grander, but sometimes doing the basics right is enough.
Dad never gets steaks at home, so he was plenty pleased.
Grass fed flanks with my super secret marinade, and grill finished fingerlings.

So Mrs Manic is all about the free range now, so we get the organic, zero emissions, free range steaks (when she shops).
I dislike how reasonably portioned they are, but they are tasty.

Sides: roasted potato medley, broccolini and Jersey toms w/feta.

Oh and this- free range organic stout.

I would ask you to further elaborate on the 'zero emission' concept. Does that mean the cows do not fart? And if so, how do they achieve such feature? Asking for a friend that would really like to know...

You guys beat me to it - zero emissions cows? Now that's funny!

maybe it is a net-zero cow, where they ingest as much co2 as they create?
then there would be carbon cow equivalents (c^2E), and cow offsets (C2c).

Cow fart (as well as the more copiously produce belch) is CH4, not CO2...there goes your theory!

Eh sounds like a marketing scam targeting those who think there is such a thing as environmentally friendly cattle farming. If people are that concerned about the environment, they should be strict organic vegans. Or if they must consume animal products, harvest from the wild via hunting and fishing.

Yeah, sorry guys-
I made up the zero emission part.
Glad you had fun with it though.
