I believe it's also why NICA has been feeding kids into the CX ranks instead of MTB.

Do you mean nationally? Because I don't see any substantial evidence of this locally, especially given the fact that NJ NICA has only existed for one season.

None of the kids on the two NICA teams I'm involved with seems at all interested in CX.
